Jeffrey T. Guterman is a licensed mental health counselor and an instructor at the New York Institute of Technology, Florida Center in Boca Raton. He is associate editor of the theory section for the Journal of Mental Health Counseling. Guterman holds a B.S. in psychology from Boston University; and an M.S. in counseling psychology, an M.S. in family therapy, and a Ph.D. in family therapy from Nova Southeastern University. He is the director of The Counseling Zone, a network for mental health professionals and students. He also maintains MentalHealthLinks.com and guterman.net, a web site devoted to Guterman genealogy, family research, and networking.
